Campaign Copy Lead & Engagement Strategist · Yammer, PowerPoint, Outlook · Internal Enablement, AI Tools
The firm was launching a new GenAI tool across its global practitioner network, and the early signals were not encouraging. Most internal tool launches before this one had been treated as technical announcements, and adoption after each one had been lukewarm at best. Nobody had really asked why people were not exploring the tools they were being handed.
I decided this rollout needed to feel like an invitation, not an instruction. I built a multi channel onboarding campaign across email, intranet, and physical activation assets, and created an interactive piece called "Prompt Personality" that let people discover the tool through curiosity rather than a mandate. I worked closely with office heads across regions to localize the messaging so it felt relevant to each team, not corporate and generic.
The hardest conversation was convincing some regional leads that a playful, story driven launch would still be taken seriously. I had to make the business case that engagement, not just awareness, was the metric that actually mattered here, and that the tone I was proposing was the reason engagement would follow.
Early adopter engagement rose by 30 percent within the first two weeks, tracked against the adoption KPIs we had set before launch, by reframing the rollout as an experience rather than an announcement. The playbook built for this launch has since been reused for every subsequent internal tool rollout at the firm.
Change management isn't about explaining tools, it's about making people want to explore them.
